JICA Chief Representative hands over the Digitization equipment.

Mr. Watanabe, Chief Representative of JICA Bhutan Office handed over an equipment worth Nu. 0.280m to the Dean, Faculty of Traditional Medicine on 6^th January 2022. The equipment (Fujitsu scanner & Nikon camera- 1 no each) will be utilized for digitization of library books and other official purposes. Such initiative is a part of the support towards strengthening quality medical education under JICA-KGUMSB Project. Mr. Hiroyuki Noda, JICA Project Coordinator, officials from JICA Bhutan Office and FoTM witnessed the signing of handing/taking note. The Dean, on behalf of FoTM thanked the team from JICA-Bhutan Office and Project Coordinator for generous support which will help towards creating convenient and better access towards e-learning for Faculty & the trainees. Successful digitization of library books and holy scriptures is one of the target activity under five year strategic plan of the Faculty covering the period from 2021-2025.
