Mr. Watanabe, Chief Representative of JICA Bhutan Office handed over an equipment worth Nu. 0.280m to the Dean, Faculty of Traditional Medicine on 6th January 2022. The equipment (Fujitsu scanner & Nikon camera- 1 no each) will be utilized for digitization of library books and other official purposes. Such initiative is a part of the support towards strengthening quality medical education under JICA-KGUMSB Project. Mr. Hiroyuki Noda, JICA Project Coordinator, officials from JICA Bhutan Office and FoTM witnessed the signing of handing/taking note. The Dean, on behalf of FoTM thanked the team from JICA-Bhutan Office and Project Coordinator for generous support which will help towards creating convenient and better access towards e-learning for Faculty & the trainees. Successful digitization of library books and holy scriptures is one of the target activity under five year strategic plan of the Faculty covering the period from 2021-2025.
