- Programme Name: Bachelors of Science in Traditional Medicine (Drungtsho)

- Eligibility criteria, for Rigzhung students:
- Class XII pass with a minimum 60% in Choenjug, Sumtag, Nyen-nga, Dzongkha/ Dazhung and 50% in English.
- Ability Rating Points for subject are as follows:-
- Choenjug – 5
- Sumtag -5
- Dzongkha -5
- Dazhung – 5
- Ngyen-nga – 2
- English – 2
- Intake – 4
- Eligibility criteria, for science students;
- Class XII passed with 60% in Chemistry and Biology, 70% in dzongkha and 50% in English.

- Intake- 4
2. Programme Name: Diploma in Traditional Medicine(sMenpa)

- Duration: 3 years
- Total Intake : 12
- Eligibility criteria, for Rigzhung students:
- Class XII passed with 55% in choejug, sumtang/Ngagtak, Nyenga & Dzongkha/Dazhung and 45% in English
- Ability Rating Points for subject are as follows:-
- Choenjug -5
- Dzongkha/Dazhung- 5
- Sumtag/Ngagtak – 5
- Nyenga -2
- English -2
- Intake – 6
- Eligibility criteria, for science students;
- Class XII passed with 50% in Biology, Chemistry and English, 60% in dzongkha.
- Ability Rating Points for subject are as follows:-
- Biology- 5
- Dzongkha- 5
- Chemistry- 5
- English –2
- Physic- 1
- Intake- 6
