The Faculty of Traditional Medicine conducted its 2nd Faculty Research Seminar with its theme “Fostering a Research Culture in Sowa Rigpa” on 20th May 2022. Hon’ble President, KGUMSB graced the occasion as guest of honor. A research publication book, titled Menjong Sorig Journal, which is an annual publication of the Faculty has been launched by the Chief Guest in presence of other guest and participants from the related agencies. Initiated in the year 2021 as an annual event, the workshop provides platform to present and debate their findings amongst the traditional practitioners and associated staff involved in the development, production and delivery of traditional medicine services. There were series of presentation by Faculty & Students on their Research Project findings. Winners and participants were awarded certificates and prizes at the end of the session.
