The Faculty of Traditional Medicine will be organizing its 1st National Sorig Conference on the 17th and 18th of May, 2024 with the theme “Unraveling the Wisdom of Sowa Rigpa for Holistic Healthcare” ཀུན་ཚང་འཕྲོད་བསྟེན་གྱི་དོན་ལུ་ གསོ་བ་རིག་པའི་ལེགས་བསྒྱུར། The event will take place at the conventional hall of the esteemed Royal University of Bhutan.
The conference will feature a rich program encompassing keynote presentation and discussion on the following sub themes:
- Knowledge Generation
- Integrated Approach
- Prevention and Control of NCDs
- Wellness and Wellbeing
- Community Engagement
- Sowa Rigpa and Health Economics
The event will be graced by His Excellency, Lyonpo Tandin Wangchuk, Minister, Ministry of Health, Royal Government of Bhutan.

Presentation guidelines will be provided to selected presenters.
