December 19, 2025 – The Faculty of Traditional Medicine (FoTM) under Khesar Gyalpo University of Medical Sciences of Bhutan conducted groundbreaking Ceremony (Salang Tendrel) for a new on-campus Girls Hostel.
This strategic infrastructure project is designed to enhance the academic and residential environment for our students, directly supporting their holistic development in the field of Traditional Medicine.
The ceremony was honored by the presence of Honorable Minister of Health, Venerable Tshogi Lopen of Zhung Dratshang, The Deputy Chief of Mission, Embassy of India and officials from relevant agencies.
This initiative aligns with our institutional strategic goals and exemplifies the ongoing collaboration between the Royal Government of Bhutan and our development partners.
FoTM extends sincere gratitude to all officials, partners, and stakeholders for their support in realizing this vital project. We anticipate the completion of hostel as a significant contribution to the future of traditional medical education in Bhutan.
