The Faculty of Traditional Medicine will be organizing its 2nd National Sorig Conference on the 16th and 17th of May, 2025 with the theme “Knowledge Exchange, Creation, and Collaboration for Advancement in Sowa Rigpa” གསོ་རིག་གོང་འཕེལ་དོན་ལུ་མཉམ་འབྲེལ་རིག་པ་བརྗེ་སོར་དང་གསར་བསྐྲུན།
Venue: MPH, FoTM, Thimphu
We are pleased to invite researchers, practitioners, and scholars to submit abstracts for oral presentations at the 2nd National Sorig Conference. This event aims to foster dialogue, innovation, and collaborative efforts in the field of Sowa Rigpa (Bhutanese Traditional Medicine) through scientific and traditional perspectives.
Sub-Thematic Areas include:
- Knowledge Generation and Exchange
- Integration and Innovation Approaches
- Wellness and Wellbeing
- Sowa Rigpa Economics
Submission Guidelines:
- Abstract word limit: 250–300 words
- Include full name, designation, organization, and brief CV
- Deadline for submission: 10th May, 2025

Upon submission, the Scientific Committee will screen out the papers. Selected presenters will be notified by 11th May, 2025 and will be invited to deliver a 15-minute presentation during the conference.
