{"id":9509,"date":"2026-07-08T15:30:05","date_gmt":"2026-07-08T09:30:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ftm.edu.bt\/?p=9509"},"modified":"2026-07-08T15:31:16","modified_gmt":"2026-07-08T09:31:16","slug":"in-house-pedagogy-workshop","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ftm.edu.bt\/?p=9509","title":{"rendered":"In-House Pedagogy Workshop"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The Faculty of Traditional Medicine (FoTM) successfully concluded a two-day in-house pedagogy workshop held on 6\u20137 July 2026 under the theme, \u201cEnhancing Teaching through Learner-Centered Pedagogy.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p>The workshop was attended by the Dean, all regular faculty members, core and adjunct faculty members, as well as clinical preceptors from Wangdue Phodrang Hospital, Punakha Hospital, Paro Hospital, and Haa Hospital.The sessions were facilitated by Asst. Professor Kinzang Lhendup from the Paro College of Education, Asst. Professor Kinley Gyaltshen from the Faculty of Nursing and Public Health, and Dr. Karma Tenzin, who joined virtually. Through engaging presentations, discussions, and practical activities, participants explored innovative learner-centered teaching strategies aimed at enhancing the quality of education and student learning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Faculty of Traditional Medicine extends its sincere appreciation to all participants for their active engagement and to the facilitators for generously sharing their expertise and experiences.
