{"id":9283,"date":"2025-12-19T14:02:35","date_gmt":"2025-12-19T08:02:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ftm.edu.bt\/?p=9283"},"modified":"2025-12-19T14:03:37","modified_gmt":"2025-12-19T08:03:37","slug":"faculty-of-traditional-medicine-kgumsb-conducts-groundbreaking-ceremony-for-new-girls-hostel","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ftm.edu.bt\/?p=9283","title":{"rendered":"Faculty of Traditional Medicine, KGUMSB, conducts Groundbreaking Ceremony for New Girls Hostel"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>December 19, 2025<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 The Faculty of Traditional Medicine (FoTM) under Khesar Gyalpo University of Medical Sciences of Bhutan conducted groundbreaking Ceremony (<em>Salang Tendrel<\/em>) for a new on-campus Girls Hostel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p>This strategic infrastructure project is designed to enhance the academic and residential environment for our students, directly supporting their holistic development in the field of Traditional Medicine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The ceremony was honored by the presence of Honorable Minister of Health, Venerable <em>Tshogi<\/em> Lopen of Zhung Dratshang, The Deputy Chief of Mission, Embassy of India and officials from relevant agencies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This initiative aligns with our institutional strategic goals and exemplifies the ongoing collaboration between the Royal Government of Bhutan and our development partners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>FoTM extends sincere gratitude to all officials, partners, and stakeholders for their support in realizing this vital project. We anticipate the completion of hostel as a significant contribution to the future of traditional medical education in Bhutan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery
